We are happy to announce that our new brand Formula RSS 2000 V10 car for Assetto Corsa is finally available! This car is our best effort to represent the old V10generation of Formula cars that many of us loved so much; with over 800 hp, limited tyre grip and no traction control, making driving skills shine more than ever.

We've released an update for the Formula RSS V10, an email with a download link has been sent to all our customers.

-Lowered the steering wheel by 25mm for a more appealing look
-One LOD has been removed, slightly improving total performance
-Driver head is now a hidden object in cockpit view
-New shifting animations made
-Springs for the paddle shifters covered in rubber coating are reanimated
-Minor remodel to front suspension parts
-Fixed a rare in-game animation bug caused by the wheels rotating after loading; the showroom car stands are removed
-Steering wheel LED textures updated and baked
-Metals and shaders adjusted
-Minor graphical items (e.g. car stickers) updated
-All driving views (F1 key on the keyboard) updated
-Car renamed in the menu

-New engine samples in interior view for short-shifting on power at 13500 to 16500 RPM
-Minor volume increase for both interior and exterior engine sounds

-Wind and transmission volumes greatly reduced
-Interior bass volume re-pitched and reduced
-Minor update to showroom sound effects
-Check the recommended_settings.jpg inside the rss_formula_2000/sfx folder for our recommended audio values

Il team Race Sim Studio ha rilasciato per Assetto Corsa la nuovissima FORMULA RSS 2 V6 2018, aggiornata alla release numero 3, che, come vedete dalle immagini, riproduce in ogni dettaglio le moderne monoposto di Formula 2. Per commenti e discussioni fate riferimento al forum dedicato.

The Formula RSS 2 V6 has been updated to version 3.0, featuring some fixes and improvements. An e-mail with the download link will be sent to all the customers of the Formula RSS 2 V6 and Formula RSS 2018 Pack 1. Thank you for your support and have a good weekend!

• 3D: Improved LODs performance significantly
• Audio: Minor volume balancing
• Physics: Fixed the issue that made hot tyres turn blue in the official tyre app

FORMULA RSS 4 V2.0 CHANGELOG 08/02/2019

3D:
• UV Mapping fixed rear wing lower beam,
• Updated car shadows
• Optimised the car chassis main LOD / cleaned and reduced geometry by 2k triangles
• New steering column created and applied to the main steering wheel frame, bugged geometry from a past XFORM settings,
• New seat belts added and applied to Cockpit_LR & LOD_B
• New tyre textures created and more blur applied along with new shader settings
• New steering wheel TX gears added as requested, much improved the resoution
• New previews pictures
• Display textures saved again to remove the known .dds bugs we sometimes see in textures,
• New driver animations, much improved over the previous ones, also shift paddle anims updated
• A general overhaul of textures and settings in the LOD_A and lower
• Exported the main car at animation frame 10, to give a better visual appearence in the showroom, car is lower to the ground like ingame

Sounds:
• Overall volume balancing
• Added new effects samples (tyres, bodywork)
• Reduced turbo effects

Other:
• Minor updates to car naming, with short name provided

Race Sim Studio is proud to announce its next arrival in its formula series, the Formula Hybrid 2019 project....

During the development progress over the last 6 weeks, most the parts we studied under a CFD environment and we kept running test after test until we was happy with the shape of the chassis and the airflow was channeled where we wanted it to flow and where we would expect to see it on the chassis which is quite complex the shape.

We will run some more tests soon in CFD to see how she currently is but pleased with the basic chassis shape we made, so far 50+CFD tests was run during the project development.
