Il team Sector3 ha rilasciato oggi il nuovo aggiornamento di Luglio per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience, che come al solito porta con sè varie migliorie e bugfix. Inoltre è già disponibile il nuovo pacchetto extra del WTCR 2019 che implementa nel simulatore tutte le vetture ed i piloti della spettacolare stagione WTCR attualmente in corso.

Vi ricordiamo che potete scaricare gratuitamente RaceRoom direttamente da Steam, mentre il pacchetto WTCR 2019 è acquistabile dallo store Sector3 al costo di Euro 14,96, in alternativa potete anche comprare una singola vettura per euro 3,98.

New content

  • Added the WTCR 2019 car class with 7 cars and 26 liveries.


Game

 

  • Now allows to bind up to 128 different button ID's on a controller.
  • Now allows to bind each traction control preset individually instead of only Next / Previous TC level controls.
  • The HUD notifications (aka "butterHUD") can now be moved around as well using the "move&scale HUD elements" binding.
  • Increased the rear view mirror y-resolution.
  • Prevented the HUD position bar from automatically scaling to gigantic sizes on ultrawide monitors by limiting its width to 1920px.
  • Changed the default steering lock value for Mouse controls from 8 degrees to 13 degrees
  • Slowdown penalties and giving back of the time illegally gained have been reworked. Added a progression where the more penalties you have received, the longer the penalty will get. Each clean lap will reduce the penalty count by one.
  • Change so the Pit stop menu elements such as Preset and Tyre Compound selectors no longer wrap around when trying to go beyond the last possible choice. (Meant to improve CrewChief's voice commands)
  • Possible improvement for players reporting issues on the game menus (cursor flickers, video freezes, etc)
  • Fixed a broken start procedure of a leaderboard challenge on Stowe layouts.
  • Fixed rev LED's that were not lighting up on Logitech steering wheels
  • Fixed a case where the messages about switching modes for LED displays were not always clearing
  • Fixed a case where the "delayed start from pitlane" message wasn't clearing when french localization was used.
  • Fixed so the MiniHUD can now be moved further on ultrawide monitors
  • Fixed broken bindings on the default Mouse control profile

Il team Sector3 lancia ufficialmente il nuovo campionato Esports WTCR OSCARO 2019, il torneo simracing ufficiale del mondiale WTCR che si disputerà con RaceRoom Racing Experience. Per partecipare è necessario ovviamente il WTCR Pack rilasciato qualche giorno fa. Per commenti e discussioni fate riferimento a questo topic del forum.

Presented by OSCARO and KW Suspensions, season two of the online version of the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup with OSCARO begins at 16h00 CET today (25 July) with the start of the time attack for the opening online Multiplayer Championship event at a virtual Hungaroring on 18 August.

There will be seven events in total each featuring a time attack stage plus multiplayer championship races split into four divisions.

The top division will be streamed live – along with expert commentary – on the FIA WTCR / OSCARO Facebook page, the WTCR’s official YouTube channel and RaceRoom’s Twitch channel.

In addition, there will be regional qualifiers for drivers from the Americas, Asia and Oceania as well as a Russian qualifier for the first time.

A total of 13 drivers will secure their participation for the live final event, with eight of the finalists coming from the Esports WTCR OSCARO Multiplayer Championship.

On Saturday 14 December, to coincide with the WTCR / OSCARO season-deciding WTCR Race of Malaysia at the Sepang International Circuit, the live final event will take place in Kuala Lumpur. The results of several races live-streamed will decide the champion with simracers using equal equipment. A fund of €25,000, which includes prize money and travel support for the finalists, will be available.

Several drivers who race for real in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO, are planning to take part in the Multiplayer Championship against seasoned Esports racers and teams with more news in due course. Slovakian Bence Bánki secured the inaugural Esports WTCR OSCARO on RaceRoom Multiplayer Championship in his virtual Honda Civic Type R TCR following an action-packed season in 2018. The online excitement is set to intensify for season two.
