VELOCIPEDE Posted December 23, 2016 Share Posted December 23, 2016 A quanto pare il 2017 sarà l'anno del settimo capitolo di Forza Motorsport: a confermare l'esistenza del racing game di Turn 10 è il CEO di Fanatec, Thomas Jackermeier, con un messaggio sul forum. Thomas ha infatti incontrato i responsabili di Turn10 per discutere riguardo i volanti e pedaliere (di Fanatec) che supporteranno Forza Motorsport 7.Pare che Turn10 abbia assunto una nuovo responsabile che si occuperà della fisica e del modello di guida, un pilota di grande esperienza ed esperto di simulatori PC professionali.Thomas: "L'incontro con Turn10 è andato molto bene e sono felice di comunicarvi che con molta probabilità nel nuovo capitolo di Forza Motorsport cambieranno molte cose. Nel Team c'è una nuova persona che si occuperà della fisica e del modello di guida. Lui è un vero pilota ed è un esperto di simulatori di guida su PC... Il mercato del gaming su PC sembra essere molto importante per Turn10 e quindi la nostra collaborazione si intensificherà per offrire il meglio agli appassionati di racing game". Per adesso non c'è alcun comunicato da parte di Turn10, ma si tratta probabilmente solo di una questione di tempo. VELOCIPEDE Posted April 2, 2017 Author Share Posted April 2, 2017 Torniamo a parlare di Project Scorpio, in seguito alle informazioni trapelate qualche ora fa da un giornalista di Windows Central su una possibile presentazione per la settimana prossima, perché la questione sta assumendo una certa consistenza. Altre fonti confermano la presentazione di Scorpio per la prossima settimana, o quantomeno una mandata consistente di informazioni, tra cui anche il celebre insider Shinobi, diventato ormai una sorta di celebrità e piuttosto attendibile, generalmente, il quale parla anche di "hardware impressionante", come riportato qua sotto. Ancora da Windows Central arrivano notizie sulla lineup che dovrebbe essere utilizzata da Microsoft per mostrare la potenza di Scorpio e il suo 4K: si parla in particolare di Forza Motorsport 7, Crackdown 3 e State of Decay 2 ma anche di titoli third party di grosso calibro, come Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars: Battlefront II, un misterioso "Call of Duty" che potrebbe essere il World War II recentemente emerso e vari altri titoli. A quanto pare, la console sarà inoltre in grado di far girare meglio anche titoli non ottimizzati per la console, non avendo alcun blocco all'utilizzo del potenziale dell'hardware, dunque ad esempio i titoli con risoluzione dinamica e framerate incerto dovrebbero presentarsi quantomeno al massimo della risoluzione possibile e con performance migliorate, al netto di eventuali aggiornamenti specifici che possano portare la grafica anche a 4K. VELOCIPEDE Posted June 11, 2017 Author Share Posted June 11, 2017 Non si sa quanto volutamente, fatto sta che sono trapelate prima del tempo alcune immagini e la data di uscita di uno dei titoli più attesi della conferenza di Microsoft di questa sera al E3: Forza Motorsport 7. Il gioco è previsto per il 3 ottobre 2017. Le immagini, catturate in 4K, sono evidentemente relative alla versione Xbox Scorpio, anche se il gioco dovrebbe essere parte del programma Xbox Play Anywhere e quindi giocabile anche su PC con Windows 10. Il nuovo capitolo è stato pensato ovviamente sulle specifiche di Xbox One X, con pieno supporto alla risoluzione 4K Ultra HD e 60 immagini al secondo. Microsoft ha mostrato la corsa a Dubai a bordo della Porsche GT 2 RS presentata proprio nel corso dell'appuntamento losangelino: ventiquattro vetture in pista, tutte costantemente illuminate dinamicamente e tutte, come l'intero garage di 600 automobili, visionabili prima e dopo anche in modalità Forza Vista. Per la prima volta i piloti saranno visualizzatili al di fuori delle macchine, avranno una cura maniacale paragonabile a quello dei loro mezzi e saranno sia di sesso maschile che femminile (come si nota dal trailer di lancio). Ci sono tantissimi dettagli che contribuiscono a ottenere un look fotorealistico: oltre alle nuvole (e alle relative ombre) calcolate in tempo reale un enorme passo in avanti è stato fatto grazie all'adozione della fotogrammetria in 4K per la realizzazione delle texture degli ambienti, che sono "disegnate" a partire da fotografie scattate dal team di sviluppo e poi importate nel gioco. Microsoft ha spiegato che si è posta grande attenzione per meglio riprodurre, sia a livello estetico che in termini di giocabilità, "le diverse vibrazioni che differenti parti della macchina subiscono durante la corsa".
