Season 4 has started

This season will bring new important feature: car parts management. While we start it, your will get few parts to use throughout season 4. There will be more parts to use in top league, in lower league there will be less parts, so you need to manage them more carefuly and not wear them too quick.

You will also start to see driver's feedback somewhere in second part of the season.

We also start to prepare another racing series but we're not sure if we manage to release it before start of season 5.

Social Pitwall - you will now have possibility to keep your closest friends together, send them private messages, challenge them or create private leagues (last two options will be available soon)

Friends - Invite - you can now invite people from inside and outside of racinglife using your google, facebook or email account.

Hi Guys

Today we released first version of telemetry.

Telemetry is a graphical tool showing how your car performed during drive.

First version of telemetry shows simple chart of speed changes related to distance driven. You can see two different laps shown on one chart, so you are able to see where you gain or loose speed.

To compare laps, go to "YOU" tab in practice session results table, select 1 or 2 laps and press "Telemetry" button, which is located in driver's feedback box.

There will be more telemetry functionalities later on.

Hi

We have just released new feature - challenges between players.

You can have a one-on-one competition against any player you want. Just scroll over his name and click "VS" icon from hoover menu.

Other way to challenge other player is to go to "challenges" section from "Office" menu.

Is someone challenges you - notification icon will appear in your office. Just click on it and see who has challenged you. You can accept / reject all challenge requests in "Social Pitwall" (in "VS" section - on the right side).

If you (or your opponent) accept challenge, it will appear in Challenges section of social pitwall (on the left side). Click on it and drive best possible lap to win the challenge.

Remember that this is the first version of the challenge feature. We will add things to make better (such as more notifications, more intuitive options and so on). There will be also separate ranking of best challengers

We will also appreciate your opinions. Both good and bad ones!

Season 5 summary

And yet another season ended, but season 5 is one to be remembered. For the first time we have a double RL Top League karting champion (counting since season 3, when qualification and races were released). It is Victor Dieguez who went down in RL history! He managed to do it even though he accidentally missed qualification in one event! So let's go quickly through the season.

TO

P LEAGUE:

After first 2 events (4 races) Qinqin Rilt was favourite to become a champion, with almost 20 points ahead of Kamil Jastrzebski and over 30 point over Giacomo Lonf in 3rd place. Victor was 54 points behind and I bet that no one expected what happened then. Victor started his unbelievable series with 8 wins in 9 races (7 wins in a row). He could easily win 3 last races of the season, but as he mentioned, he left this record to be beaten in the future Smile At this stage he had 73 point advantage over Qinqin (whose form was systematically dropping down) who finished championship in 2nd place and 96 points ahead of Giacomo Lonf, who finished 3rd thanks to fantastic form at the end of the season.

Star of the season: Victor Dieguez. No doubt about it

Positive surprise: Giacomo Lonf. Thanks to his good performance in second half of the season and for his first win in Top League in last race.

Negative surprise: Marcin R Regowy. As a defending champion he finished at 12. position

Top League rookie of the season: Kamil Jastrzebski. Very good start of the season and 4 times on podium.

LEAGUE 1.1:

Whole season was dominated by 3 drivers. After 4 races Michel Sampaio was the early leader. But then Dylan Sharman caught very good form and won 4 races in a row. Second part of the season belonged to third driver: Dw001, but the championship title went to the Michel who won last 2 races and finished ahead of Dylan by just 5 points.

LEAGUE 1.2:

It was one of the toughest leagues in season 5. 6 drivers were fighting for a promotion. Scott O'Neill from Australia was an early leader winning 3 out of 4 races, but finally he finished in 3rd place. Andrea Spaccapistoni won the league with 6 race wins ahead of Pedro Sprint (3 wins). Marcin Cebula ended up in 4th with 2 wins and Oscar Pesavento finished 5th with 1 win. In this league there was 6 different race winners. Brazilian Carlao Bolezina won 1 race and was 5 times on podium but it wasn't enough to promote to the Top League. He finished 27 points behind Oscar.

LEAGUE 1.3:

3 out of 5 players who finished in promotion zone are from Poland. Rafal Po, Pawel Mrozicki and Szybki Manfred had pretty easy way to the Top League, but the winner is from Canada: Frank Schiap. 6 wins and 10 times on podium gave him 63 points advantage over Rafal in second place. Brazilian jorge correia won 2 races and finished in 4th.

So who is on charge for championship crown of season 6?

First 2 races showed a strength of Season 1 and Season 2 champion: Damian Baran. He used to win only 1 race per season, but now he already won 2 out of 2 races this season. Giacomo, Qinqin and Victor are almost 20 points behind with only 1 point separating this 3 guys.

Best Top League rookie so far is Andrea Spaccapistoni, who won League 2.8 in season 4 and League 1.2 in season 5. He was 9th and 14th so it will be very hard for him to keep such good results this time Smile
