GP3 SERIES 2016/2017/2018 build 2.15 This is mainly a graphical upgrade for all 2018 cars and drivers, also due to the new entries of this season. Excluding new updates for technical reasons, this is the last upgrade of ever for the GP3 Series, because IRL this is the last season of the GP3 Series that will be merged with the Formula 3 for the next years. This is the opportunity to thank all the mates that, since years ago, participated to the development of the mod that covers 3 years of life (also our life, LOL) and the community that always supported our belowed free hobby. Steam version is available with the templates too: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=939773105 Here few links to the mod for manual downloading: - https://mega.nz/#!Gwwk0YjA!AryC6_mV3NMGFrWlc2eC3ZfTVgVu8wo6JYENxuQtjvg - https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/3pgz8LFTieOwPlku6IFhgO3PynRAIbu6TdGnyBZ0pBc
GP3 SERIES 2016/2017 build 1.31 Build 1.31: updated to latest real life 2017 liveries, added 2017 helmets and visors for each driver (Chris 'Brack Jabham', Boxer, LcR) - improved steering wheel for new paddles (3d by Chris 'redapg') and new dash fonts - added GP3 TVCockpit Cam - added/replaced new drivers --- PHYSICS: tuned brake heating, cooling, bias, duct, range and new default setting for brakes - added option for 2017 gearbox - improved performances of DRS for 2017 series due to MoTeC info of real cars - new default setup for 2016 and 2017 for packers and ride height.
  3. Fonte Build 3.75: updated mainly for adding the new class: 500 Ares by Pogea Racing, a monster FWD with: 400+ (maybe 411) HP max power 445 Nm more than 280 km/h 4.1 (or 4.7) seconds 0-100 km/h 5 gears 215/35R18 and many changes to the body... Few fixes and improvements to the other classes too as explained in the thread. As usual the mod is available on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=521592981 For manual download: https://mega.nz/#!alZXzQiD!xqyLJNtWxnstF8jgJjJCG_yEZoX1lG86HzbP2CdAhFw http://www.mediafire.com/file/cegw1ia1ywe8me5/500_695Abarth_v3.75.rfcmp https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjVjc1JhYcCwhyBPfnqPdmD1M6DO The template of the Ares: https://mega.nz/#!mk5yxBbR!XHF8ppqFay071_haOYUQQ6ll7e6g_PaUafmQhw6j7SU Many thanks to Chris "redapg" that modeled a lot of parts specifically addressed to the Ares, otherwise the mod would remained on a dream. And many thanks to LcR that painted the skins and looked in deep at discovering and improving several details. Now try to drive this beast!
I know, the mod is not of great interest… But these cars, in real life, have a good success and since years, mainly due to the very affordable cost for racing a whole season, the very low cost for buying one of them, the opportunity to rent one of them and the great feeling that transmit when you fight with other drivers, there are tens and tens of amateurs that race in the championship and some special events… also more than 50 drivers per event. I had a lot of difficulties in getting real data and, in the end, the best I got was the feedback of a couple of teams and some driver. In effect the car was developed without any CAD aid, nor a spreadsheet, but with a lot of attempts and tests on track. And the original version for rFactor1 was developed by few very skilled guys of S.RW. (at the time they were attending graduate studies in subjects related to the physical models) so I used several original values. Below is the text that comes into the workshop on Steam: rFactor2 version by Slow Motion Group - 3D is Property of Predator's Owner - Initial porting under full authorisation of S.RW. PLEASE NOTE: the mod comes with 2 classes, Factory and Sim... Factory is like the real world car, Sim has few different finals and less lasting tires for online purposes. READ CAREFULLY: THE CAR WAS MANUFACTURED FOR VERY SHORT TRACKS, in real life Italian tracks like Varano, Cremona, Cervesina that unfortunately aren't yet available in rFactor2. I strongly suggest to use tracks like Mores, Adria and similar karting style tracks for feeling how the real car behaves, in fact the car hasn't differential, nor traditional left and right rear suspensions and axles, so, in few words, the car turns more or less increasing or decreasing the front ARB; there is also only one central spring in front and the steering wheel is VERY VERY LIGHT! The typical behaviour of the real car is that the perfect path in "fast" corners (fast for that car, lol) means to feel the car "floating" on the surface. To achieve this perfect behaviour you need to push the throttle in the right moment and right rpm, to avoid the under steer and, on the contrary, controlling the over steer to have the "floating" effect. It needs few time to well understand how doing it. Another "feature" is that you must drive the car in a dirty way entering the corners, to be faster... and you MUST WORK A LOT WITH THE STEERING WHEEL. All these are peculiarities of the Predator's PC010, no faults. If you want to use the mod in "normal" tracks, you could find useful to add 1 or 2 degrees to the wings and increase stiffness of front ARB, otherwise you will have only mechanical grip. Be careful vs. AIs: they are very aggressive but perfectly tuned for short tracks... to fight at Mores is very very awesome! Of course the build is available on Steam, to be subscribed... Here are the links to the rfcmp, in case of need: DOWNLOAD Build 1.1 DX11 READY and with animated lollipop is available! Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=865838372 Manual download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/85tjzad9g2wbouu/Predators_FormulaPromotion_1.1.rfcmp?dl=0 https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjVjc1JhYcCwhkfCLnDeZFaKFto8 https://mega.nz/#!G0o1HL5B!ZsUjTnoXh1zMoigLrC-5BtzCMiROfMC73bk77lVsUok Enjoy the mod! 5. Finally the GP3 Series is available!Below you can read credits, same text that is into Steam Workshop. I think useless to start writing in details about the development of the mod... it would deserve a novel. Much better that you start a safe approach to the mod and you will discover how much it is sensitive to any little change in the setup, closed to the real cars. You will also discover slight differences between the 2016 and 2017 cars and probably in the future we'll provide updated liveries and helmets for the 2017 season.

    [rFactor2] - Palatov D4

Palatov D4 View File Palatov D4 1.57 by Slow Motion The design goal of the D4 was to put as much power as possible into as small and light a package as possible, while still being able to use it, and still provide a high level of safety. The Hillclimb configuration is the ultimate D4, with over 350hp in a AWD chassis weighing just over 425kg. Even the base Trackday configuration is still potent, with over 170hp, packaged in a car that weighs slightly more than 400kg. Despite the light weight and small size, the D4 is designed to share the track with much larger cars, and is overbuilt for a car of its weight class. Developed by Palatov Motorsport & Slow Motion Group, this new build 1.57 brings several “hidden” improvements to the physics, to better match the evolution of rFactor2 in the last year and half. A new 2017 revised steering wheel has been added to match the evolution of the real life Palatov D4 and were made a few improvements to the graphics, with the goal to enhance the user's experience without altering the great feeling of this awesome prototype! The steering is now more precise. Strong steering FFB still communicates the road surfaces just like the real car: this is a feature of the Palatov D4! Those who wish less intensity may use FFB Multiplier below 1.0 to reduce FFB strength. Graphics: - new steering wheel - new shader for rear and braking lights - fixed unwanted “holes” in car’s shadow cast on track - new shader for car’s floor Physics: - fixed CTD switching from fullscreen mode to desktop - revised steering wheel values for matching the 2017 real life Palatov D4 - improved engines to the new rFactor2 code - tuned shift attenuation sound for opponents - fine tuned Real Hoosier Racing Slick wear for opponents - due to the several changes to the physics and some new rFactor2 code, tuned opponents performances Don’t forget to subscribe / download also the Oregon Raceway Park Circuit, where Palatov Motorsport conduct most of their real world testing. This has enabled direct comparison with logged data and video from the real car. Submitter Alessandro Pollini Submitted 03/04/2017 Category Cover Wheel Mod

    rF2: Formula BMW v1.16

The new build will come with several enhancements, mainly: - new full flex chassis developed using the specific online tool of Chris - new steering wheel options developed as above - new engine developed as above - AIs tuned for working at 95% vs. humans - braking torque: decreased, but of course pushing hard, mostly the inner wheel lock as I suppose to be right - AI starting: improved a little, now you can overtake only one line, maybe... - tuned the stiffness of the chassis, to avoid unwanted oversteering exiting med corners and to have a well balanced car like the original rF1 version, but with the new technology and enhancements of rF2 - gears: I discovered an unused final into the original mod and I apply it with a little tuning - recalculated several values in the realtime section of the tires (TGM) to improve them - new rear wet tires (TGM) - new TBC file (of course) - new opponents classes, now identifiable with full initials (i.e. FBMW2005ASIA, FBMW2006USA, etc...) for an easier choice - new talents file with tuned values - improved the resolution of some items into the cockpit

    rF2: Palatov D4 e Brookdale aggiornati

  14. Nota: trovate qui la versione per rFactor Superb work by Third-party SLOW MOTION GROUP (full credits on profile link). They bring you this fully licensed Palatov D4, including AWD Hillclimb configuration, from PALATOV MOTORSPORT LLC. Download here! (click order by ‘date last updated’ to quickly find it). Nice profile page here: http://rfactor.net/web/2015/05/12/third-party-licensed-palatov-motorsport-d4-now-available/ The car comes with three main configurations: Custom, Track day and Hillclimb. Though there are additional engine and tire options. The Custom class reflects the options that are available in the real world. This enables potential customers of the real-world car to test various configurations and evaluate the differences. In the sim, we recommend that the Custom class be used with the Turbo I option, to create a car that is similar to the base Track day setup, but with improved performance. The Track day and Track day Multiplayer are the best classes for the traditional circuits. A perfect balance between performance and stability without excessive power, which gives the opportunity to appreciate the balance of the chassis, tires, and drivetrain. The Hilclimb configuration is a monster! It has a lot of power for and is lightweight, demanding a lot from the driver. We recommend mastering the Track day setup first. The Hillclimb configuration, as the name suggests, is born to be driven on open circuits like Pikes Peak. fonte ISI forum This post has been promoted to an article

  16. Fonte. Here is the first public version 1.0 of the BMWE90 WTCC0608 for rFactor2. Let me explain some more: 1. I want to call this version an "update to rFactor2" of the "evergreen" great mod made by Raceskinning.de starting by the 3D made by Thome and under his permission 2. My intention in managing it, was to let the essence of the mod itself, without changing the feeling in driving these cars, but at the same time improving and enhancing the features in those areas where rFactor2 uses its new technology like the flexible chassis, the new deformable tire structure, the new integrated gear, new shaders, etc... 3. I toke the decision to change only the default setup to have a car easier to drive and more performing, localcams views, seat adjustment and tires!!!! 4. About tires I spent a lot of time (but without having the necessary skill to manage the TGM files and +ttool at a pro level...) to reach my goal: Qualify Tire with high performances but very very sensitive in degradation more than in the "pure" wear, great for a couple of laps only; Race Tire for a lasting performance where aggressiveness in driving can be allowed but without sliding too much or spinning; Wet Tires very closed to the original ISI coefficients. Also AIs performances with Talent file seems to be at a good level, also if AIs do not mount Qualify Tire (not my fault) Changelog v1.1 - changed some coefficients following the new available technology of rFactor2 - fixed a graphic issue into the dashboard using HDR - “cutted” a little slice at the bottom of the front bumper to avoid (partially) to touch the ground, off road - tuned max speed for AIs closed to the humans - new talent files for all classes following new ISI specifications - tuned braking system - added option to personalize suites of each driver – standard rF2 driver (DRIVER) - added option to personalize specific BMW E90 helmet of each driver (EXTRA1) - pay attention for window… you must use WINDOW and duplicate the content to EXTRA0 too Many thanks to the several persons that gave me help, technical suggestions and support during the development. I hope you will enjoy the mod! DOWNLOAD - TEMPLATE And, thanks to ISR, a server and GETMOD option are already available! rFactor 2: 500 Abarth 695 v3.2

Buon divertimento e... buone sportellate! Features 3.2 - added few new coefficients into several physic files (engine, cockpitinfo, susp, hdv) - added talent file (same names but different performances for each driver - hard fight now!) - wider range for seat adjustment - new categorization of the vehicles: main one is now "Fiat Abarth" only and then you find the 3 classes and cars for each class. For dedicated still 3 classes are directly available - raised a little the NoseCam view - new structure for gear embedded into the HDV files
