I realised I was pretty good at it when I regularly finished top five, and in some cases top three, on Assetto Corsa. Also, when I completed my laps on the F1 simulator, the engineer was quite impressed with my pace. Vi avevamo già segnalato il "personaggio" nel mese di giugno, oggi torniamo a parlare di Sinem Temur, meglio nota come SimRacing Girl, perchè la ragazza belga ha pubblicato su Youtube una interessante intervista a Wolfgang Reip, pilota ufficiale GT Nissan proveniente dalla competizione GT Academy di Sony.

Per anni gli appassionati di simulazione di guida si sono lamentati della quasi totale assenza di piloti al femminile davanti ad un monitor con un volante fra le mani. Negli ultimi tempi qualcosina ha iniziato timidamente a muoversi, con le prime "pilotesse" andate in pista persino negli eventi dal vivo con i simulatori. Una portabandiera dei piloti del gentil sesso è certamente la simpatica, carina e veloce Sinem Temur, meglio nota come SimRacing Girl, ragazza belga che, grazie soprattutto ad una serie di apprezzatissimi filmati su Youtube, potrebbe rivelarsi la prima esponente di una lunga lista di piloti senza barba! Mostly you can find me racing Assetto Corsa but I also like RaceRoom, iRacing and Dirt Rally. Yes, I just completed my first league with SRS but due to traveling and missing some races I did not end up that high. My best result was with the Ferrari F138 at the Catalunya GP where I finished second of 23 competitors. I’m starting to get up to pace and in most lobby’s i end up in the top 10 so I’m happy with that at the moment! How do you see the future of the sim racing? Do you think there’s a possibility that we’ll see big races being broadcasted in stadiums with thousands of people like what happens with more maninstream games like League of Legends and CS: Go? Yes definitely. I’m not gonna say as big a CS or League of Legends but the simracing world is taking huge steps forwards. Like McLaren just launched a league, you had that formula E League in Vegas and so on. Also I attended the SimRacing Expo at the Nurburgring last year which had a great atmosphere and is really a must see for all simracers!
