Propio ieri, in occasione del primo gran premio della stagione di Formula 1 2017 a Melbourne, vinto dalla Ferrari di Vettel, la Logitech e la McLaren Honda hanno annunciato un nuovo accordo di marketing, con un Zak Brown, Executive Director di McLaren Technology Group, mostratosi subito entusiasta dell'accordo, che non è un semplice contratto di sponsorizzazione: “Together, we are already working on exciting plans for the future of our work together. There is plenty to come from both McLaren-Honda and Logitech in our mutual offering for our fans and stakeholders alike.” Vi ricordiamo che anche le altre case produttrici di hardware di guida collaborano con il mondo del motorsport: la Thrustmaster è da anni partner della Ferrari, cosi come la Fanatec di BMW e Porsche per i propri volanti.     Il bravo Schumi ha rilasciato per rFactor 2 la nuova versione aggiornata 1.2 del suo Formula 1 2001 mod. Si tratta della conversione dalla release originale creata per rFactor dagli RMT, opportunamente adattata all'ultimo simulatore degli Studio 397. Oltre ai vari bugfix, la nuova 1.2 ci offre una fisica per il single player migliorata e la presenza dell'indimenticabile Jarno Trulli alla Jordan. Le nuove monoposto F1 della stagione 2017 vengono presentate proprio in questi giorni (ieri la Ferrari SF70H), ma per Assetto Corsa i modders si sono messi subito all'opera: il neonato gruppo Race Sim Studio è già a buon punto con la realizzazione di una Formula 1 di fantasia con tutte le caratteristiche della stagione 2017, a cominciare dalle gomme più larghe e dai tipici alettoni ed appendici aerodinamiche derivati dai nuovi regolamenti. Il modding team francese ACFL ha puntualmente rilasciato per Assetto Corsa la prima versione 1.0 del suo attesissimo F1 2017 mod, progetto che ci permette di simulare la nuova stagione del mondiale di Formula 1, partita proprio oggi con le prime prove libere a Melbourne. Il mod sarà naturalmente aggiornato nelle prossime settimane anche per equilibrare le performance delle monoposto e la resa delle nuove gomme. Dirigetevi sul sito ACFL per il download del mod, che richiede una donazione di 5 Euro (solo 4 se avete il precedente F1 2016), mentre per commenti e discussioni fate riferimento a questo topic del forum.
  10. Siamo ormai piacevolmente abituati ogni anno al mod F1 ACFL per Assetto Corsa (qui la stagione 2016). Il modding team francese ACFL ha deciso da quest'anno di ampliare i propri orizzonti: grazie ad un accordo con Apex Modding, il nuovo F1 2017 mod sarà disponibile a Maggio anche per rFactor 2 ! ACFL AND APEX announce their partnership for ACFL 2017. ACFL will be presenting its ACFL 2017 mod for assetto corsa. APEX will propose the end of April / Beginning of the month MAY ACFL 2017 APEX (A2017A) for rFactor 2! This will be a mod pay for the price of 5 € (full mod + updates) + Information will be provided by APEX in the near future. Per quanto riguarda invece Assetto Corsa, proprio stasera sarà rilasciata ai beta testers la prima versione del nuovo F1 2017 ACFL mod, con l'intenzione di poter poi pubblicare il mod v1.0 proprio in occasione del primo GP d'Australia della prossima settimana. Sono già previsti, per la seconda gara del Mondiale, ulteriori aggiornamenti che andranno a perfezionare in particolare la resa e durata delle gomme, che attualmente rappresenta un incognita per tutti. Si tratta di una Formula 1 di fantasia con tutte le caratteristiche della stagione 2017, a cominciare dalle gomme più larghe e dai tipici alettoni ed appendici aerodinamiche derivati dai nuovi regolamenti. Ormai da una settimana sono iniziati i test pre stagione della Formula 1, cosi anche la Codemasters ha iniziato i propri test in pista (virtuale) per il suo prossimo F1 2017, il gioco con licenza ufficiale FIA Formula 1. La software house inglese ha quindi invitato presso la propria sede un discreto numero di appassionati testers, che hanno provato una versione beta del software, con le vetture graficamente del 2016, ma con gomme e fisica delle monoposto aggiornata alle nuove regole 2017. A questo link trovate il resoconto completo della giornata in Codemasters, che ha raccolto moltissimi suggerimenti ed indicazioni dai testers, che si sono ovviamente divertiti come matti! The quality of this mod is perfect as all people can expect from the guys who created those mods. With V8 powered engines, the cars of this season have a great aerodynamic which offers you a very fast speed in the corners, something that will fulfill your fantasies of driving a real Formula 1 car. Moreover, these cars have Pirelli tyres. Pirelli is a trademark with a lot of international prestige and 2012 was his second season in Formula 1 after more than 20 years being retired from the king of motorsports.   17. La 63esima monoposto concepita e realizzata da Scuderia Ferrari per il mondiale Formula 1 è “figlia” di un cambiamento regolamentare che ha pochi precedenti nella storia della categoria. In passato, infatti, si è andati quasi sempre verso norme che limitassero le prestazioni delle monoposto. Quest’anno, invece, è stata presa la direzione opposta: ovvero aumento di carico aerodinamico e aderenza meccanica. CONCETTO AERODINAMICO. In questa ottica, tutto il gruppo della Gestione Sportiva ha lavorato sulla ricerca del giusto compromesso tra deportanza (ovvero carico) e resistenza aerodinamica. Le nuove gomme Pirelli, infatti, sono ben più larghe che in passato: 6 cm (ciascuna) all’anteriore, 8 al posteriore. La maggiore sezione frontale costituisce un “freno” all’avanzamento, così come lo stesso maggior carico derivante dall’ala anteriore, dal fondo scocca e dal diffusore a norma 2017. Per contro questo carico, unito alla maggiore impronta a terra delle gomme, si traduce in maggiore aderenza e quindi velocità in curva. TELAIO. Numerose le differenze tra la SF70H e le Ferrari del recente passato: il muso allungato e l’ala a freccia sono frutto dei regolamenti, così come la vistosa ‘pinna’ sul cofano motore e le appendici aerodinamiche più complesse davanti alla presa d’aria delle fiancate, la cui forma particolare è stata studiata in armonia con il posizionamento della struttura anti-intrusione. All’anteriore è visibile un condotto con funzioni aerodinamiche, mentre alle spalle del pilota l’archetto di protezione (roll-hoop) che ingloba la presa dinamica del motore è totalmente ridisegnato. Rivisto anche l’alloggiamento delle sospensioni, che mantengono lo schema a puntone (push-rod) davanti e a tirante (pull-rod) sul retrotreno. Mozzi e dadi ruota sono stati ridisegnati per agevolare il lavoro dei meccanici durante i cambi gomme. Infine, sempre in funzione delle prestazioni previste quest’anno, si è provveduto a ridimensionare la servoguida e l’impianto frenante. POWER UNIT. A differenza dell’aerodinamica, nel campo della propulsione il regolamento ha subìto poche variazioni. La principale riguarda la quantità di benzina utilizzabile da ciascuna vettura in gara: prevedendo, viste l’incremento prestazionale, una maggior percentuale di tempo sul giro a pieno regime, passata da 100 a 105 Kg totali, mantenendo però la stessa portata massima di carburante (100 Kg/ora). Il motore 062 rappresenta un deciso passo avanti rispetto alla versione precedente nella ricerca di prestazioni. La disposizione di alcune componenti meccaniche dell’ibrido è stata rivista, mentre altre soluzioni conservano uno schema simile a quello 2016. This was my first ever attempt at rFactor modding so it was a massive learning curve for me. I stopped working on it for about 6 months because I had other projects and such, then I lost enthusiasm. I was still working on it every once in a while, about once a month I'd cross something off my checklist. Well, on Wednesday I thought "You know what, I'm going to keep my head down and finally finish this thing". So I got it to a point where I'm happy with it and can release the first (and possibly last) public BETA version of the mod, since a few people were asking for it. Here's a video: Now, it's version 0.999 because there's one thing I haven't done, basically because I couldn't be bothered. And that is recreating the race suits to fit in the template of the new animated driver. They're the right colour, and I didn't feel like it was important as you can't really see it anyway. Well now you have an amateur crappy late 90s mod to play around with until somebody with skills and enthusiasm actually makes a proper one. xD Let me know what you think! Cancellate le vecchie versioni del mod prima di installare questa e leggete il readme fornito nel pacchetto.     I proudly present to you the Formula Frenky F1 car, based on a front running formula 1 car 2016. Download here: This car features a system 870 - 910 bhp (boost 1 / 2 turbocharged, inlcuding artifical MGU-K and MGU-H) and comes with flexible chassis (with front and rear subbody) and CPM tires. It does not yet include the tire and mixture features of b1098 of rFactor 2. And it also does not have the Ultra Soft tire compound. Please leave some feedback here for further improvements. Please be aware, I only do physics editing. I cannot change graphics. Have fun racing!
