    Automobilista: F1 1975 Season v1.1

Review: F1 Williams FW11B by ACFL

DOWNLOAD

The package includes also a specific KN5 optimized for the Oculus. The only difference are the RPM lights that are more visible also in case you are not using post processing effects. Just use the kn5 included in the f312_oculus.zip During our tests we've noticed that in some systems the driving position is a roughly meter higher that is should be. The driver eyes position seems to be ignored for some reasons. A similar issue has been reported for official cars as well. Hopefully we will be able to fix this issue in a near future. As a workaround use the official app to save the correct position. You just need to do this once. Open the app Onboard settings Press: Auto Pos Save Exit from the AC session. Enter once more. skins added new skin Scuderia MRT (created by Marco Calesella) as an example of the new chromo effects introduced in the new version. added seatbelts_textures_package. Those are created as skins for easy preview in the showroom. You can use those seatbelts of different brands in your own skins simply copying textures in your skin folder. Sound Sound upgraded to the new fmod project structure (updated by Davide “elMariachi90” Cervone). Physics Tyres upgraded to the newest tyre model v10 and fine tuned. Tyre radius dependent on speed, calculated based on tyre manufacturer specs Tyre falloff tuned to have a realistic feeling when losing grip Improved tyres behaviour in fast changes of direction. The car has a now more direct response. Improved overall force feedback feeling. The car is now more communicative. You will feel more even smaller bumps on the track. The wheel feels also a bit stronger. Improved car behaviour on corners where there is a fast change of track camber, like the last chicane at Spa Brakes pads efficiency based on real data Thermal model for brakes. Driving feeling with cold brakes has been verified with Omicron Motorsport’s drivers Added aero dependency between wings in the aerodynamic model. For example, increasing the angle of the front wing does change the efficiency of the rear wing. The new aero model is much more complex than the previous model to achieve better correlation to the experimental data. There are still few limitations that we hope we could address in the future. Tuned damage model for the aerodynamics. Refinement on dampers model based on new document provided by a user on RD. In the setup screens dampers options are now shown in steps for easier selection of the 8 settings available on the damper knob. Steer assist set to 100% by default instead of 50. It’s still possible to change it anyway in the car setup screens. Best results with FF postprocessing configured correctly. Fixed downshift profile causing the car to slightly lock the rear during downshifting Changed step for ARBs to be make the selection easier Added fuel consumption for accurate fuel estimation for AI (no changes for driver fuel consumption that was already tuned to the same number) IMPORTANT NOTE: Setups of the previous version are NOT COMPATIBLE with the new version due to changes on the aero model.

  11. We've been a little quiet lately as we've been working on more content to bring to you all on rFactor 2. Today we're proud to release some progress shots of a car I think many of you will love to drive in rFactor 2. The 1994 Mclaren Peugeot MP4/9 progress screens have been posted on our official flickr account. Be sure to check them out here http://www.flickr.com/photos/mak-corp/sets The 1994 Mclaren will be part of an F1 Classics mod that will house a number of cars from various seasons. With time we'll be showing them all off along with progress of in-game and open beta's like we have done with the IFS3 and Mazda 787B. For now, enjoy the new shots! The 1994 Mclaren Peugeot was driven by Mika Hakkinen in his first full season as a Mclaren Driver and Martin Brundle. Boasting a 3.5 litre V10 Peugeot engine, the team faced a dismal year troubles with reliability issues, but still came out with two second place finishes, one for each driver as well as six third places throughout the season, five being scored by Hakkinen. You will get to enjoy this car along with others in rFactor 2 soon enough. Stay tuned! Today we are proud to release another mod for rFactor 2. The 2004 Williams FW26 is the third vehicle installment for the F1 Classics Mod and provides both driver skins of Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya. Check out the full article with download links here: http://mak-corp.com.au/index.php/component/k2/item/90-williams-fw26-v0-2-released Today we are proud to release another mod for rFactor 2. The 2004 Williams FW26 is the third vehicle installment for the F1 Classics Mod and provides both driver skins of Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya however helmet and driver body/suit models and skins are not included in the initial release but will be in a future update once our own animated driver body is finalized. The 2004 Williams FW26 boasts a BMW 3.0 V10 engine outputting 900hp @ 19000rpm. Engine sounds are version 1 for the beta. Many of you will notice that there will appear to be a change in the Menu. MAK-Corp mods will be changing to a brand new menu structure as of their next updates coming soon. This may seem a little confusing until that happens as both the F1 Classics and Williams FW26 will share similar menu's but we plan to update other mods very soon into our new menu structure. FMod official project v1.9

Hi guys, time for big news audio wise. As you know, we introduced the FMod middleware in an early (and bugged) stage. Since that moment, many Fmod versions have been released (with new features and awesome bugs), but we had no time to update our version, until now. Console feedback together with requests by modders gave us a "good excuse" to start a new two-men BIG challenge in a ridiculous amount of time. We reworked the whole project and about 90% of the related code, making it easier to manage by us on the long term, fixing bugs, making broken things work as expected and last but not least improving performance and resource usage drastically. Does this new big update break current sound mods? Yes, but this time we want to face the problem in advance: we are releasing the new SDK one week before the public one, so modders can update their work in time for AC 1.9 release. Of course new sounds banks cannot be tested in game until the public AC 1.9 release, but once out it's just a matter of volume balancing. Furthemore, you will find some new event folders in the project, so you can mod almost everything audio wise. Hope you appreciate it. Dettagli e download qui.
  13. Since we initially released the Brabham BT20 for our users, Sir Jack Brabham unfortunately passed away. We wish his family the best, and once again thank them for allowing us to include this car and “Jack Brabham” himself in our simulation. We’re delighted to also have “Denny Hulme” joining him to truly represent their era as opponents for you to drive as, or against. In 1966 Jack Brabham finished on the podium in Mexico using the BT20, winning the Drivers Championship. Meanwhile, Denny Hulme raced the car for most of the season, finishing on the podium four times and cementing the team victory in the Constructors Championship. The car was also used by the team in 1967, with one points finish for Brabham and three for Hulme, including a victory at Monaco. Please uninstall the current version of the car you may have, then download the Brabham-Repco BT20 v1.6 rfcmp and install it. Need help driving? Check out the ‘technique’ section on the BT20 profile page. Brabham-Repco BT20 v1.6 Changelog: – Added Jack Brabham and Denny Hulme AI drivers. Physics – ModelWheelsIncludeAllTireMass’ fix / enhancement. – Moved to ultra chassis (with Chassis Flex). – Inertia’s recalculated for total body and for individual parts (such as brake discs, etc). – Revised suspension geometry from scratch. Pushrod locations are also using the new method and which should give accurate motion ratio’s throughout the entire range of travel of the suspension. – Dampers and springs revised to match. – Reduced maximum steering lock so that tyres would not intersect suspension parts. – Moved over to new steering system. – Tyres scratch made. The old ones were slightly too wide and rear radius was too low. Also the effect of real road on these old tyres has been reduced the tyres also have a lower wear rate. – Numerous minor AI correlation tweaks. – Tweaked undertray locations and added one more point. – Brake system completely recalculated based on new data (the effective Brake Bias is ~57% front on default). – Differential now allows preload adjustments. – New tyre parameters included for wet weather added. – Engine life tweaked. – Minor fixes. Sound – Using new sound internal / external attenuation variables and scrub individually to tyre sounds. Graphics – Brand new historic driver, completely from scratch. – Added individual driver faces for a more authentic feel. – Graphically corrected front rims to 15″, front tyre radius slightly reduced. Tyre widths also slightly adjusted. – Brake discs corected to 11″ (F/R) – Steering wheel mapping update – Shaders update – Various textures updated – Holes in the back+under car body fixed – Minor LOD distance tweaks. – Included additional liveries by our test team. Bike MOD by Klax75 v2.25

Fonte I've decided to try my best to continue the great work JamoZ has done. I've been working on setting up a Mega site for the bike MOD and paint database. The bike MOD I will only update twice a month, on the 1st and the 14th. Any bikes released between those dates you can get from the authors thread, but the full bike MOD will not be revised until the 1st and 14th of each month. I am continuing much as JamoZ did. There is a full bike MOD meaning all the current bikes with all the paints available at the time of the .zip file being made. There is also .zip files for each bike with no paints at all. I'll try to keep the paints folder for each bike up to date. You can always PM me if your paint is missing or if you made a new one. I will also check the paint threads as much as a I can. Again the full bike MOD and the individual bike .zips with no paints. Will ONLY be updated on the 1st and 14th of each month, if they need to be updated. Thank you. Also I did not make any of these bike mods, so all credit goes to the talented individuals and teams that made these bikes for us to enjoy. My only purpose is combine the bikes in to easier to find database. I will be updated this also. Bike releases will still be on the 1st and 14th of each month. Paints more often Bike MOD Auto Sync [beta-tests]. http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=1449.0 Bike updates will be in RED on the 1st and 14th of the month, new Paint Updates will be in BLUE and will be updated more often. I also added .zip files for each paint folder. The .zip files for each paint folder will be updated on the 1st and 14th same as the Bike MOD. Individual paint files not in a .zip will be updated when more often. P.S. I am in the U.S. so there is a 4-6 hour time difference between me, the U.K. and Europe. So there may be delays in the future when uploading due to the time difference. Bike MOD 2.25

  22. Fonte. After a fair a bit of deliberation both me and @pankykapus have decided on what our next project will be. Currently it's still in its very early development stages, with panky taking time out from the Cobra to begin researching, gathering data and acquiring material. At this early stage we will be just working on prototyping the car physics with a low poly placeholder model as I'm still tied up with finishing off the Cobra (animations, LOD's etc) Some basic spec- 1100bhp in qualy trim Twin-turbo 12-cylinder engine 0 to 100kph in 2.1 sec Top speed around 238mph The most powerful car to race at Le Mans In the interest of transparency from the get go we have been toying with the idea of paid mods. After our experience with the Cobra and the Audi its clear to us that there is a lot of work involved. Time is really the main factor, as we would like to devote more to projects like these. I guess depending on reception we will see what happens
