In una lunga intervista concessa ad IGN, Kazunori Yamauchi, noto boss di Polyphony, ci racconta tanti dettagli interessanti sul suo prossimo Gran Turismo Sport, partendo dal sonoro (che questa volta dovrebbe essere davvero migliore...), grafica, modelli 3D, fisica e persino dello sviluppo in collaborazione con Thrustmaster del nuovo volante T-GT wheel.

“We’ve been working on this steering wheel, on the development of it, for about three years now. One of the main points of focus when we did the development for this is the precision of the torque. We did some testing... on the [wheels] that we have developed in the past and the one we are developing now and we found that the torque curve coming out of the output of the steering wheel, as compared to the instructions for the torque curve coming out of the software, was actually not linearly connected. It was different. We found this out by developing an actual measurement device to measure the actual torque curve that was emitted by the steering wheel device. So this now is the first steering controller device that actually reproduces the intended, precise torque that the software’s outputting.
