Nuovi driver e firmware da Thrustmaster e Fanatec

Proprio oggi invece, la Thrustmaster ha rilasciato un nuovo pacchetto driver per tutti i suoi volanti. In particolare l'update aggiunge il supporto PC per il volante T-GT e per l'ultimo TS-XW Racer. Non mancano ovviamente varie migliorie anche per tutti gli altri modelli, compreso il T500 ed il T300. Potete scaricare il pacchetto driver dal sito Thrustmaster ed assicuratevi di avere installato l'ultimo firmware versione 43.

A new PC driver (Package 2017_TTRS_3) is now available for all Thrustmaster Force Feedback wheels.
Changes made in the new driver version:
- Added PC support for the T-GT racing wheel.
- Added PC support for the TS-XW RACER racing wheel.
- Several improvements on all Thrustmaster racing wheels .

Alcuni giorni fa la Fanatec ha pubblicato un nuovo driver in versione beta da far testare ai suoi utenti. Il driver 291 porta con sè un firmware specifico per le basi CSL Elite, sia quella per Playstation 4 che quella per PC/XBox, ma è compatibile anche con le basi ClubSport. Questo nuovo firmware introduce un nuovo valore da impostare sulla corona dello sterzo, chiamato FEI (Force Effects Intensity). Lo scopo di tale parametro è di andare a smorzare le eccessive vibrazioni che con alcuni titoli generano un forte rattling nella base, difetto che avevamo segnalato anche noi nelle nostre video recensioni.
