VELOCIPEDE Posted May 23, 2018 Author Share Posted May 23, 2018 Located on the Detroit River, Belle Isle has hosted a multitude of auto races since first opening in 1992. Currently hosting the Verizon IndyCar Series and IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship among others, the 2.35 mile, 13-turn circuit is located on a picturesque island minutes from downtown Detroit.
