Sono Davide Cervone aka elMariachi90; sono conosciuto nel settore per la mia attività di sound designer con cui ho dato voce ai suoni di tante vetture su svariati racing sims ed in via ufficiale su Assetto Corsa; nell'ambito di questo topic mi piacerebbe tuttavia proporvi una vasta gamma di pezzi di ricambio per volanti Logitech nati dall'interazione tra due realtà: Playerzone Online Racing Team e l'azienda 3DRap di cui sono CEO:

Una breve presentazione: 3DRap è un'azienda che basa il suo core business sulla prototipazione dell'oggetto commissionato grazie all'adozione di macchine che lavorano per addizione di materiale, in particolare stampanti 3D autocostruite; grazie a questa tecnologia è possibile riprodurre manufatti di svariate geometrie a prezzi assolutamente competitivi.

Mozzo adattatore per volanti sportivi per G25 G27

Nella foto si mostra il mozzo adattatore per Logitech G27, sul sito è presente anche quello per G25. Questa mod consente di sostituire il volante originale con un qualsiasi volante sportivo presente in commercio; esistono altre mod sul mercato che consentono di fare ciò ma sono poche quelle che preservano la funzionalità dei paddle e dei tasti del volante originale mentre sono pochissime quelle che lo fanno a prezzi accessibili dall'utente comune.

Grazie alla filosofia produttiva di 3DRap è stato comunque possibile ottenere un componente ad elevata funzionalità, dotato di buona resistenza meccanica con costi decisamente competitivi senza sacrificare il giusto posizionamento dei paddles.

Consente di sostituire uno o entrambi i morsetti con un prodotto assolutamente compatibile e dotato di ottima resistenza al carico applicato.

Vite per G25 G27 G29

Anche questo è un componente soggetto ad usura che può comportarne la rottura dopo vari cicli di utilizzo; il nostro prodotto è dotato di ottima resistenza meccanica.

Mod cambio per G25 G27 G29

Questa mod consente di ottenere un aumento di resistenza al pomello del cambio rendendo più realistica la fase di cambiata.

In confronto a tante mod esistenti in giro sul web qui il montaggio è molto semplice dato che occorre semplicemente rimuovere la cuffia ed installare la mod (istruzioni sul link del sito); nel contempo non si sacrificano le prestazioni dato che rispetto alla configurazione originale la forza è più che raddoppiata.

 

Mod cambio "Plate type" per G25 G27 G29

Si propone un altro modello di mod cambio che preserva la sensazione di innesto originale aumentando la resistenza del pomello oltre il doppio (circa 700 gf di carico contro i 200 gf standard).

 

Mod freno "strong" e "very strong" per G25 G27

Questa mod viene proposta in due configurazioni: " very strong" oppure "strong", la prima è più rigida; si applica facilmente al pedale del freno senza bisogno di smontare tutta la pedaliera; consiste in un elemento elastico realizzato in "filaflex": è un materiale sperimentale che ha un esteso campo elastico ed elevata resistenza all'usura; grazie alla riprogettazione di alcuni componenti delle nostre macchine c'è verso di lavorare anche il materiale in questione grazie al quale è possibile ottenere prodotti funzionali come questo.

Accoppiando la mod in serie con la molla già presente nella pedaliera si ottiene un effetto "cella di carico" quindi una frenata molto più realistica.

Si suggerisce di modificare la curva di risposta del pedale dal profiler del simulatore di guida aumentando la sensibilità della risposta (pendenza della curva).

Here below a short presentation: The core business of 3DRap company consist in "prototyping" the manufacts commissioned by the costumers; this is possible thank the adoption of "additive manufacturing technologies" such as self made 3D printers; in this way it's possible to make manufacts which have complex geometry preserving low final costs.

Sport steering wheels flange adapter for G25 G27

Here you can see the flange adapter made for G27 but on the site you can find also the one for G25.

Thanks to this mod you can replace the original steering wheel with a sport one. Of course you can find a lot of other adapters on the market but there are few mods which preserve the functionality of all the accessories (buttons positions and above all the paddle position) while there are very few products which have accessible costs to the user.

Thank to 3D printing we can anyway achieve a good product with high functionality, with good mechanical strength while keeping the costs low.

With this you can replace one or each clamps that sometimes break; the product is fully compatible with the original one, it resists very well to the applied loads.

This mod improve your feeling with pedals.

 

Shifter mod for G25 G27 G29

This mod improve the resistence load of your shifter so improve also the shifting feeling.

The installation is very simple since you have to lift the headset gear and apply it as described on the website.

As result you improve the load more than two times.

 

Shifter mod "Plate type" for G25 G27 G29

Here you can find another way to improve the shifter resistence load; if you want to preserve the engage feeling of the original shifter and have more resistence this is the solution.

The force increases from 200 gf to about 700 gf.

 

Brake pedal mod "strong" and "very strong" for G25 G27

You can see this mod in two configuration named as "very strong" and "strong"; the first one stronger than the second one.

The material we use to release this mod is known as "filaflex" that is an experimental material that presents excellent mechanical properties about elasticity and fatigue; we can extrude this material by redesigning certain functional components of our machines.

By coupling the mod with the original spring it is possible to improve the braking feeling, the effect is similar to a "loading cell" brake.

We suggest to improve the braking curve in your own profiler by increasing the sensibility.

as I already said on the video and twitter I gotta give some feedback here, this mod is pretty cool, it complete changes the feeling of the shifter. Unfortunately a video would not make any sense but I definitely recommend the shifter mod for H pattern, so simple yet so effective!
