João Rodrigo Dias
Hi thanks a lot, this has been very helpful.. Regarding saving the files, if you choose dxt1 or dxt3 instead of dxt5 the file will be considerably smaller with no visible difference in a 1080p screen.. I came across this problem because SRS skin size limit is 10 mb, and in dxt5 some skins were 60+ mb. Hope this helps someone else, Cheers Edited November 28, 2017 by João Rodrigo Dias
madmike34
When I try to open the "rim.dds" file, I always get multiple rims. How can I see just one rim by opening a DDS file? "If you see multiple repeating rims that get smaller and smaller you have opened the dds incorrectly and need to try again with different settings." What you mean with different settings? I just double click the file and open it with Photoshop CS6. Can't figure it out.
