a. FOV - Field of view - camera "zoom"

b. Pos - camera position left/right, up/down, front/back

c. Target - camera angle left/rigt, up/down, ???

FOV : field of view - higher number - more tunnel-alike view

Da 1 ,0 a 1,5

1,0 più vicino al parabrezza

1,5 piu lontano dal parabrezza

NEAR : important in seat view - tells which objects will be displayed. Making it higher can cause wheel to disappear

POS :

- first number is x (left, right) - positive numbers move view left, negative move it right

- second number is y (up, down) - higher number moves view higher, negative lower

- third number is z (front, backwards) - more negative moves view forward towards front of the car, more positive move view backward.

TARGET : literally "where do U look at" numbers go the the same as with pos parameter.

UP : world up vector. I'm sure we'll never need to change it. Messing with it can cause the view to do a handstand or sth like that. Interested ones I forward to google with "world up vector".

That's it. Important - in-car view uses different mesh than external view fe (simply not all car model but detuned one - only interior - makes drawing faster), so it isn't so simple to have a few bonnet cameras fe - trying to make interior view external will cause some strange effects Feel free to experiment.

P.S. Using RbrDll with forced windowed mode can make modding much much less frustrating - U don't have to quit game and enter it all the time to make small adjustments.

BISOGNA USCIRE OGNI VOLTA SIA DA RBR CHE DA RSCenter!!!

RSRBR 2013 Install Guide

Hey mates!

After hours of looking for tutorials, info, tweaks, etc, I finally got all of the most important info in one text file. I'll just copy/paste it here hoping it will make life easier for other newbies to this mod.

If I got something wrong please let me know, tho my install works fine.

Warning

You must make your configurations wheel, joystick, sound setting, view, etc ... from the original game : RSCenter not start , or use the buttons, it does not save your settings !

Attention!

profile MULLIGATAWNY * is automatically created by RSRBR 2013: you must use it to play with RSCenter .

If you saved your old profile with BackUpRSRBR.exe, you can restore your game

Install guide.

1.Game (just incase patch 1.02 too)

2.Install_RSRBR_v2013 (Core mod)

3.Install_Update_01_RSRBR2013 (patch 01)

4.Install_Corrective-1_RSRBR2013 (Hot-Fix for the patch)

5.Install_Pack_ALL_Packs_2013 (Cars)

6.Install_Pack_Tracks_v2013.exe (Tracks)

(5 files with .exe installer)

7. Open RSCenter Menu, Select alone, select all settings (car, track, road even FOV and play)

8. Didn't have to create a profile, RSCenter logged me in as guest (tho you could create one to play online)

9. BTB Tracks, just copy rar/7z file (no extract needed) to C:\Games\Richard Burns Rally\RXRSRBR,

then select'em from RSCenter launcher like normal tracks. (some use installer)

Apparently these two steps are important for FFB to work properly!

Go to your Richard Burns Rally main directory folder.

Delete PC_InputFilter.ini.

Open RichardBurnsRally.ini,

delete the first line of "Constant Force Multiplier -60".

Description of the problem:

After all installed (RBR RSRBR with MOD and its updates) you start the game and then nothing ... black screen (or whatnot)

Solution:

Do not install RBR and RSRBR in one of these folders:

- C: \ Program Files \

- C: \ Program file (x86) \

- C: \ Users \ NomDuCompte \

- C: \ Program Use a different folder, eg C: \ Games \ RBR ....

Seat position & FOV: (RSRBR can change FOV from menu)

open up the Cars folder and then the folder for each car, right click on the main ini file, accent.ini for example and uncheck the Read-only otherwise you wont be able to save your changes.

Then open that file, look for the [Cam_internal] section and then the Pos section under it, the third number across controls the back and forward position of the camera, it will be a minis number, I reduced the number by .2, so for the Accent car it was -1.204938 and I changed it to -1.004938. That brought the camera back so I could see more of everything, always handy when rallying at high speed.

Same deal with FOV reduce the number for bigger fov I used for the stock game 1.305000 I think.

conviene installare la copia di rbr su c.\ poi avvii l'installazione di rsrbr2013 puntando a quella cartella....il gioco originale rimane e per avviare la mod c'è un launcher apposito quindi non puoi sbagliare
