iRacing: ecco cosa ci attende...

Il vice presidente Steve Myers ci aggiorna in un lungo blog su cosa è in arrivo per iRacing. Il simulatore americano prevede infatti gustose novità per i prossimi mesi: come prima cosa una nuova e più moderna interfaccia, quindi l'attesissima McLaren MP4-30 di Formula 1, per la quale saranno implementati anche il DRS (anche sui circuiti per attivare l'ala mobile), ERS, MGU e mescole diverse per le gomme, il tracciato del Nürburgring Nordschleife in 12 diverse configurazioni (e c'è anche la possibilità di avere in futuro la serie tedesca VLN), oltre a varie migliorie grafiche.
Myers ha poi spiegato che il nuovo circuito di Imola, la Mercedes AMG GT e l'Audi R8 LMS, saranno pronti per la build di Marzo, mentre la Formula Renault 2.0 ed il tracciato di Le Mans dovrebbero essere rilasciati entro la prima metà del 2016.

This is always kind of a depressing time of the year for me because winter is literally only weeks away and all the real world racing series are finishing up their seasons. I am excited though to be heading to Homestead on Friday to celebrate our NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series champion Kenny Humpe and get to watch what is really the only race left in the season. Love it or hate it you can’t deny that this new Chase format does provide a “super bowl” event with the final race at Homestead...
