se me lo fanno pagare quanto il GT2, e mi promettono che non si romperà come la maggior parte del loro hardware lo potrei valutare come "sfizio" alternativo al G27-E.
Esteticamente non mi sembra malissimo (premetto che non amo i disegni futuristici o i volanti pieni di led), ma visto il legame con il brand (FM4) riesco ad accettare qualche compromesso.

A prima vista sembra più "moddabile" degli altri fanatec, nel senso che SEMBRA che la corona non sia la sede della circuiteria interna (non tutta), quindi potrei ben sperare di rendere esteticamente presentabile anche questo, come si è fatto con il G27 ;)

non per giudicare un prodotto "dalla copertina", ma a parte l'aspetto palesemente plasticoso...

io ho notato alcune cose che mi hanno fatto storcere il naso:
il tipo che lo sta usando non si è manco permesso di usare il cambio manuale (ne a farfalla ne a leva). Visto il fissaggio ridicolo della leva (riconosciuto come tale dalla maggior parte degli utilizzatori), lo posso ben capire.

Il FFB non sembrava essere molto presente. Probabilmente era settato molto basso, con centinaia di aiuti (vedi sopra, cambio automatico) e ffb al minimo.

La postazione FANATEC o il sistema di fissaggio del volante resentano (probabilmente, e imho) il ridicolo. Alla minima sollecitazione il volante si sposta in VERTICALE...???
Mah...scusate il piccolo e probabile OT, ma voglio ben sperare che presto si portà avere una presentazione "seria" prima dell'uscita di Forza Motorsport, così saprò se mettere questo aggeggio nella mia wishlist o no

News: Sembra commercializzeranno 2 modelli:
Uno molto simile agli standard fanatec (quindi con copertura rotondeggiante nel posteriore e meccaniche interne...boh!).
L'altro invece, apparentemente più "PRO" come quello che si vede nelle foto sopra. Il plexy sulla copertura lascia intravedere le componenti in metallo...chissà se stavolta hanno intenzione di commercializzare un volante "SERIO" proponendosi come "la soluzione definitiva" per i possessori di tutte le piattaforme.

Sicuramente con il GT2 si sono presi una bella fetta di mercato, vantando la compatibilità delle varie piattaforme, ma non mi ha mai convinto il brand porsche, e l'inaffidabilità del servizio assistenza.

Se mi garantiranno una qualità costruttiva maggiore, e materiali migliori (mi aspetto un prezzo di lancio simile al t500) allora potrei farci davvero un pensierino...!

Plasticoso ???!!???

Questo è un volante che tecnicamente si mette leggermente sopra al Frex (2000 Euro), una spanna sopra al T500 e anni luce avanti a tutto il resto, ad un costo di "soli" 6/700 Euro

100% metallo (e carbonio per il volante)
Sensore montato direttamente sull'asse del volante invece che sul motore come tutti gli altri volanti ( più preciso perché evita il gioco dei vari ingranaggi/cinghie oltre che ad eliminare quel lag di pochi ms che aggiunge la trasmissione)
Il feedback è gestito da sue motori da 120W (centoventi!!!!)

The initial impression of the wheel was above my expectations and can easily give a Logitech G27 a run for its money.
The quality of the materials made the wheel look and feel solid, with buttons ergonomically placed and a steering wheel thickness that inspires confidence. Suede from the GT3 RS has been replaced by plastic and alacantra, making this more comfortable to hold than its predecessor, even when you either collide into something or run into opposite lock situations.
The responsiveness of the feedback made it easy to place a torquey car, such as the Mercury Cougar, into any corner with precision. There simply wasn’t a dead spot with this wheel at all, even when I tried to upset the car utilizing Fanatec’s new emergency break or downshifting improperly. The car was easy to catch in most circumstances (consider that Forza 4 isn’t that far off from a sim racing experience).
