CODEMASTERS ONLINE RECRUITS DEV TALENT FOR NEW FORMULA ONE™ ONLINE GAME.
Codemasters Online today announced that it is actively recruiting talent for a new development team to be based at its headquarters in Warwickshire, UK. Following the international success of F1 2010™ for home consoles and PC, the new team will lead the development of an original FORMULA ONE service-based online game.
Set to deliver a fully official and high quality FORMULA ONE browser gaming experience, the as-yet-unnamed game will focus on being highly accessible, thanks to an innovative design approach to car control, while offering persistence and depth of gameplay for a mainstream online gaming audience.
"FORMULA ONE is incredibly popular in many countries around the world, particularly in countries where online gaming is either already big or rapidly growing such as India, Brazil, Korea and China, the potential is clear" said David Solari, Vice President and General Manager for Codemasters Online. "We have proven F1 is a major games brand and what we have planned will build upon that".
Codemasters Online is actively looking to fill a number of positions within the development team for this project. For open positions and details, please visit www.codemasters.com/jobs and filter by ‘Online’ under Departments.
