From our research I see you have been and probably still are a very good guitarist. Do you still have time to play in a band and do you ever think, “what if I had carried on with my music instead of programming” ?
Sadly, I do not have time for a band, nor for practising much these days. I am trying to follow my wife's progresses on the instrument to see if she's got what it takes. It was a big change in my lifestyle going from musician/teacher to being employed as programmer for the first time.
