Main Features

* It replaces all racing tyres (not drifting!), to obtain a more believable tyre behaviour: you can slide even more than with default tyres

but this is not the quickest way to go around a circuit. Sliding means traction loss. Best times are done using racing techniques.

Each tyre is scaled to the weight/power of the car....tyres for more powerful cars are more performant but less forgivin.

* AI bungee cord behavior is removed thanks to a part of Goffik AI overhaul mod.

* AI is adjusted for the new tyres, AI drivers personality are all "calm experts" and AI agressivity is removed to allow clean racing.

* It avoids the brake bias bug: in default shift the brake bias slider is broken and the game applies always the same value. For some cars this

value is OK, for some cars it causes massive oversteering under braking, for many others like FWD the oversteering under braking is moderate but

it makes all driving techniques like lift off oversteer useless.

* It replaces controller profiles for better FFB.

* It boosts steering thanks to a dll to remove in-game steering lag.

* It removes some upgrades (turbo, brakes) which were overdimensionned and made the cars undriveable and prevented the AI from driving cleanly.

These upgrades can still be bought to allow reaching works level but don't have any effect.

5.01 fixes a bug with lambos/audi r8 tyres.

Lo sto provando

In frenata anche con tacco punta si perde il retrotreno su molte vetture "troppo" facilmente.

Mi trovo bene invece con le impo del physical che avevo postato

Impressioni personali naturalmente.

nuova versione 1.4

Sharper tyres.

* reduces car oscillations

* makes steering more direct and precise

* changes the way of driving. Requires more precision to go fast, but still easy to keep the car on the track.

* cars may require springs and sway bars adjustments (in game)

It requires some time to get used to. The best way is to try it with a reasonably powered car (not upgraded) and listen to the car :)

Version 1.2: Same mod. Added unpacked files in a folder. Unpacked files are not installed with the installer/uninstaller scripts. You have to copy yourself the content of unpackedfiles where you have your unpacked files for the game.

Version 1.3 (can't upload new archive without increasing the version number)....mod is the same than 1.1 and 1.2 I only left unmodded files in unpacked folder to avoid any confusion

Version 1.4 same mod. Little doc about the modding process added (from forum discussion)

Version 2.0 big changes. Most of the final subjective tweaking was removed to go back to the core idea of the mod (updated tyre stiffness and damping). Grip multiplier and cog multiplier are now restored to their default value. Now the remaining modded parts are:

- tyre stiffness (long, lat, cornering)

- tyre damping

- tyre speed sensitivity

- Matt's brake mod

- Adjusted brake pressure for all cars.

This way the v2.0 gives you NFS Shift with sharper tyres, softer brakes and...nothing more :)

* It greatly reduces car left/right oscillations. Car feels more connected to the road.

* It makes steering far more direct and precise, mostly removing the feeling there is a controller lag.

* You need to be more precise and careful to be fast.

* reduces differential pre-load in setups.

* Reduces brake pressure as default stock brakes were already far too strong. Now you can feel difference between cold and hot brakes, and brake upgrades are more useful.

* Change default controllers setup for a better FFB.

* Default springs are stiffer on most road cars.

Version 3.1: Better FFB, firmer in center, FFB drop when front wheels understeer can be felt more clearly. Car CoG height is now real figure-> cars more alive, more challenging sometimes, lap times closer from real ones.

Tyres adjusted to be a little more difficult to recover when grip is lost.

Version 4.1: Wheel signal is boosted, this cancels very well the feeling to have a laggy steering. Huge difference in feeling...good sim-level connection with the road. Sorry for the very short time before 4.0 and 4.1
