iRacing: nuova Build l'8 Marzo

Il team di iRacing annuncia questa sera ufficialmente le numerose novità che arriveranno con la prossima Build del simulatore americano, in rilascio per il prossimo 8 Marzo: Mercedes AMG GT3, Audi R8 LMS GT3, Formula Renault 2.0 e come bonus la Mazda MX5 Cup 2016. Inoltre avremo a disposizione un nuovo engine grafico con il supporto alle DirectX 11. Da non dimenticare che è ancora attiva, fino a fine Marzo, la promozione del 50% di sconto sull'abbonamento per tutti i nuovi iscritti.

 

iRacing's latest software update is releasing next week and is all about the cars! We welcome Audi, Mercedes and Renault to our every growing list of premier motorsports manufacturers we have partnered with. Plus we are introducing the all new 2016 Mazda Global MX-5 Cup car. We will also be rolling out DX11, an upgraded graphics engine, as well as two new, distinct times of day - early morning, and late afternoon. All of these cars, features and more are scheduled to be released March 8th.

 

Mercedes AMG GT3
With a lineage hearkening back to the SLS AMG GT3 the Mercedes AMG GT3 is a potent addition to the GT3 category.

Audi R8 LMS GT3
The Audi R8 LMS GT3 ranks among the most successful GT3 cars with more than 200 international victories along with back-to-back championships in the 2014 and 2015 Blancpain Endurance and Blancpain GT Series.

Mazda Global MX-5 Cup Car
The newest Mazda MX-5 embodies the classic top down, sports car characteristics that have made previous generations of MX-5s genuine classics: an engaging blend of power, nimble handling and comfort in an affordable package.

Formula Renault 2.0
This single seat, 2.0 liter race car can be found racing on circuits all around Europe and is often a stepping stone to higher and higher series as young drivers develop their race craft and aspire to Formula One.

Formula Renault 2.0 coming next week to iRacing!

The Mercedes-AMG GT3 is coming to iRacing next week. Pre-orders for new content are now open. While the new build is being deployed on Tuesday, you'll be able to download what you've preordered and drive it in test sessions.
 

Pre-Ordering is now available for the Audi R8 LMS, Mercedes AMG GT3 and Renault 2.0. The primary reason we are introducing pre-orders is we have added some functionality to iRacing when we are down for maintenance. Beginning with the scheduled downtime for the season 2 update you will be able to load iRacing in single car testing mode when we are in maintenance mode. You will be able to drive any content that you have previously downloaded and is up-to-date. Don’t worry, we’ll make the downloader available while we are in maintenance on Tuesday so you can update the new content that is not yet available.

The new Global Mazda MX-5 Cup car will also be available but since this is a FREE car there is no need to pre-order it if you want access during our maintenance period - it will automatically be available to download. If you would like to be able to test the new content during maintenance on Tuesday you will need to do following:

1. Pre-Order any of the cars you are interested in
2. Update any current cars or tracks you wish to have access to prior to the maintenance window
3. Look for the downloader link that we will post at testdrive.iracing.com once maintenance begins and download the content you pre-ordered
4. While we are in maintenance create an account here: testdrive.iracing.com
a. You must use the email associated with your iRacing account when you create this account
5. After the download is complete and you have created the new account you can simply select the car and track combination you wish to test on at testdrive.iracing.com

Once we have completed our maintenance this new testing will no longer be available, you will need to login to your member account as usual.
Don't forget about about volume discounts - purchase any 3 cars and/or tracks and get a 10% discount, purchase 6 or more and get a 20% discount.
Also, if you want to wait to purchase the new content until we are back up and running after maintenance the purchase process will be the same as you are used to - don't worry, we won't run out of cars!

iRacing da questa mattina ha iniziato il lavoro di aggiornamento che ci porterà martedi prossimo alla nuova build ricca di novità. Come specificato in dettaglio qui di seguito, il simulatore americano ha lanciato la possibilità del pre ordine (con possibilità di sconti) per tutti i nuovi contenuti, ovvero Audi LMS, Mercedes GT3, Formula Renault, mentre la Mazda Cup sarà inclusa gratuitamente nel software. Novità molto interessante che parte con questo update, è la possibilità di girare in modalità allenamento con una vettura e pista precedentemente scaricati, anche quando iRacing risulta offline.

 

Pre-Orders and Maintenance Mode Testing
