In fact we hoped to surprise you and get it out still this week, but late on Friday it became clear that we are not ready yet...The good news is - our ultimate goal is clear and we are on path: release of Scandinavia DLC is scheduled for May 7, 2015. While Steam players are getting it automatically right away, as always, it will take us another day to complete and release the non-Steam game build.The public beta for 1.17 was a massive success for us. Plenty of bugs we could not foresee were found by the community. We much appreciate your support and dedication!Let us do a short recap of major items in the 1.17 update: New weather and lighting setup New sounds for DAF XF Euro 6 New drivers, new driver art Tires and rims turned into independent accessories Added six-wheeled chassis for both Renault Magnum and Premium Better support for retina displays (OSX) Traffic AI behavior improvements Improved engine performance and stability Improved support for multi-monitor systems A full list of modding changes can be found here. VELOCIPEDE Posted May 7, 2015 Author Share Posted May 7, 2015 Here we go: ETS2 Scandinavia map expansion published!The release of the much-anticipated Scandinavia map expansion DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is finally here.The activation keys in retail box editions of the game sold across Europe should start working right now, and your game should automatically update to the DLC content to be compatible with latest game version just after installation.The launch date for digital portals is May 7 as well, so you will start to see the game appearing now as well on many 3rd party distribution sites.We are of course offering the game for sale directly ourselves through our two official channels:1. Il nuovo update, oltre ai consueti bugfix, ci offre anche alcune migliorie e novità, come ad esempio il nuovo Mercedes Benz Actros che vedete nel video qui sotto. VELOCIPEDE Posted July 3, 2015 Author Share Posted July 3, 2015 Territory expansion in upcoming ETS2 Update 1.19 Greetings, Euro Truck Simulator 2 Update 1.19 is nearing completion. The closed beta is in full swing and hopefully next week we will be able to start the final stage of testing - and offer you access to a public beta.In this short blog let's just touch one small but nice feature that this update will bring you. We are expanding Going East! content with more of the Hungarian territory, bringing you two new cities: Pécs and Szeged. As you can see on the map, quite a few kilometers of new roads were created to provide good connection to the older section of the map.
