Download Track Graffit Be Gone

I do a lot of hot laps, posting / beating times, and learning the track. No longer focused on overtaking or keeping my position, I noticed something horrible…

Graffiti!

This mod removes all graffiti from the racetracks. No more “SpeedHunters” “Need for Speed” or the “Shift” logo. “Start / Finish” graffiti are also removed.

Graffiti unique to the Nordschleife (including Aremberg, Karusell, etc) are intact. Dakota and Rustle Creek also keep their signature graffiti / logos.

Banners with “NFS 2 Unleashed” have also been removed. Why do I need to be told that I’m playing the game every couple hundred yards? This banner isn’t on all tracks, but when running the Ambush Canyon, it bothered me enough so... it’s gone.

Possible additions for next version…

Remove Cranes / Bulldozer from racetrack sidelines
– I don't mind the flag waving or crowd, but when I go around a corner and see a crane... :eek: Do they have cranes during real races? I am aiming to make the game a little more realistic and with a friendlier vibe/look.

Remove oil stains from Willow Spring Horse Thief Mile / Tokyo tracks
– I have them finished, but decided to leave them out for now since they aren’t really noticeable. They were extremely visible in SHIFT1, but SHIFT2’s track lighting makes it difficult to notice. Your call whether I should include them, I haven’t installed them in my version yet.
